JET4SALE /\ MIG4SALE

site is under construction .... the MIG21 mongol B is for sale $50K FOB Berlin small logo

MIG21 600UM (mongol B)

The stories are true; one drunken night a friend of mine got the bright idea we should own a military jet together. He said he know at least 3 or 4 other well healed people who were good for at least 50K quarter shares. I said, sure I'm in and since I'm the only average working stiff in the crowd I figured I'd show my sincerity by finding and acquiring the jet. All my moneybags friend had to do was kick in his share and find 2 more buddies who'd kick in the balance to get the jet air worthy. I contacted a well know importer of soviet era fighter jets and asked if he knew any good deals to be had. Ironically he was helping a rich Texan assemble a fleet of MIG21s and came across a jet in Berlin. The Mongol B had been with the DDR Luftwaffe and during reunification was turned over to FRG Luftwaffe. It flew till '92, was overhauled and given to a museum. As the story goes a museum had lost its lease and the jet is now sitting outside in the elements. My friend passed on it and instead purchased one for $250K because it had a far more recent flying history within the Eastern Bloc. Based on my mechanics word I transferred the funds a week after that drunken conversation. Well, my buddy sobered up and said to me "you know I've been thinking, that MIG burns a lot of gas and I don't really like airplane partnerships so I'm going to just get a L39. By the way, what are you doing with that Mig of yours?"

JET HISTORY Was with DDR training Sqdrn. etc. ....

JET EXTERIOR Painted green to protect surface from corrosion. it's not all that pretty but she's in good shape.

JET STATUS Presently stored inside. It was outside for about a year before I was able to go to Berlin and have it moved indoors. Weapons systems were all de-mil'ed by the Luftwaffe back in 92-93. I've had the wings removed to allow easier indoor storage and to prep the bird for shipping. Once the tail is off it should fit inside a 48ft container. With tail inplace it will go topside in open top container with shrink wrap. Buyers call.

JET INTERIOR Full de-mil'ed interior. Everything is complete and inexcellent condition.

JET FUTURE If I don't get offers to recover my investment then the engine will be sold and the fuselage made available to the Film & Television industry.

JET ENGINE Fresh motor.
